For the first time in many years, Year 10 spent a week on a work experience placement.

On 29th June, staff and students took part in a commemorative walk around Ashton to celebrate 150 years of Bryn St Peter's School. Schools, nurseries and church groups from Bryn and the wider Ashton community took part in the walk around Ashton.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students, our Lions of 2025, for achieving an amazing set of exam results this summer. Their hard work, determination, and commitment to learning have truly paid off, and they should be very proud of everything they have accomplished.

Cansfield High School was proud to host the annual, historic Jack Case Cup in July, bringing together student, staff, and the wider community for an exciting day of sport, teamwork, and school spirit.

It was a time for celebration for some of our staff in July. They have been studying hard for three years in their own time to complete their Masters in Education at Liverpool Hope. It shows how important it is to always have those high aspirations and challenge yourself, even when you find it hard.

On Tuesday 2nd September, our school was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed the newest members of our community — the Year 7 cohort.
